Skylar Brandt
ABT's principal dancer - masterclass coach
Skylar Brandt was born in Purchase, New York and began her training at the age of six at Scarsdale Ballet Studio. She attended the Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis School at American Ballet Theatre from 2005-2009. Brandt was a silver medalist at Youth America Grand Prix in 2004 and 2008.
Brandt joined ABT II in 2009, became an apprentice with ABT in 2010, and joined the corps de ballet in 2011. She was promoted to Soloist in 2015 and to Principal in 2020. Among her leading roles with the Company are Giselle in Giselle, Medora in Le Corsaire, Kitri in Don Quixote, Gamzatti in La Bayadere, Olga in Onegin, Clara, the Princess in The Nutcracker, Young Jane in Jane Eyre, Columbine in Harlequinade, Princess Praline in Whipped Cream, the Lead Maiden in Firebird, the Golden Cockerel in The Golden Cockerel, and roles in The Green Table, Pillar of Fire, Daphnis and Chloe, The Sleeping Beauty, Bach Partita, The Brahms-Haydn Variations, Company B, Gong, In the Upper Room, Piano Concerto #1, Raymonda Divertissements, Sinfonietta, Symphonic Variations, and AFTERITE.
Brandt was awarded a 2013 Princess Grace Foundation-USA Dance Fellowship. That same year, she was featured in the movie “Ballet’s Greatest Hits”. In 2018, Brandt was the recipient of an unprecedented Special Jury Award for her performances on the Russian television show “Big Ballet”. In 2022, Brandt was named to the renowned “Forbes 30 Under 30” list of most influential leaders and entrepreneurs.
Giovanna Lamboglia

Giovanna Lamboglia began her training in Brazil and attended the Maria Olenewa State Dance School (Municipal Ballet of Rio de Janeiro affiliated School), based on Vaganova Methodology. She graduated in 2014 and performed with the Company in Coppelia and Nutcraker productions. She was awarded First Place and Best dancer in National competition as CBDD. She has competed in and placed in numerous International Competitions including American Dance Competition 2015, USA (Top 15 with Nutcracker Variation and Highest Score in La Esmeralda Pas Deux); 7th Helsinki International Ballet Competition 2012,Finland; Youth America Grand Prix NYC Finals 2013, USA; Silver Medal at the International Dance Seminar In Brasilia, 2011,Brazil; Second Place at Entreatos International Dance Festival in 2012, Brazil. Notably, she was a guest artist for the Albany Berkshire Ballet in a tour production of The Nutcracker, dancing the roles of the Sugar Plum Fairy and Drewdrop in the years of 2013 and 2017. In 2015 she got a soloist contract to dance with Ballets de France in Toulouse, France.Featured roles in Etudes, Flower Festival in Genzano, Flames of Paris and contemporary work by Mike Forthergill and Mario Piazza . She moved to Canada in 2016 to be a Soloist Dancer with Canada´s Ballet Jörgen. In Toronto she also had the pleasure to work with Evelyn Hart from 2017-2020 in her own group and with teachers and choreographers of National Ballet of Canada. Her repertoire there includes “Stars and Stripes”, “Four Temperaments “, “ Kynesis XIII” . She is guest artist doing the role of Clara since 2018 with Symphony of Halifax in Canada . Giovanna secured a scholarship to complete her American Ballet Theatre National Teaching Curriculum provided by YUMIKO dancewear and has since been teaching in Canada, Brazil and England, and leading international masterclasses for students across the world, from France to India. Giovanna is now based in London where she is a freelance dancer and teacher.
